Perspective of an academic practice surgeon. Dr. Wolter is Double Board Certified in Urology - Female Pelvic Health and Reconstructive Surgery. He is the Residency Program Director and Director of Urology Education for a prominent academic institution.
We get to uncover the difference between an academic practice and private practice surgeon. We also get hear how Dr. Wolter prefers to be approached by new reps trying to earn his business and what he appreciates about his current reps. He puts a large emphasis on the fact that reps should be resourceful, helpful in tight situations, able to solve problems under pressure, possess a high level of emotional intelligence, and much more.
